Standing with him is my friend Hfz-fati Shabani. Hfz-fati is amazing. He goes out and spends hours helping refugees every night. He’s done it for months. He doesn’t get paid for it. He doesn’t have to do it. He works a normal job during the day, he sleeps a few hours, and he helps refugees by night. He wants to help his fellow man.
Hfz-fati has also memorized the entire Koran word for word. He sang a part of it to me by the fire and it was so, so beautiful.
